What does great leadership actually look like?
In this 12 week online program Rachael brings together the most important behaviours that separate leaders from managers. It does this by leaning strongly towards the "how" of leadership. Most of us know the why, and many understand the what... But after consulting to over 600 companies Rachael finds the big gap is between knowing what to do and actually doing it. This isn't because we're lazy, too often we simply don't know how.
The Extreme Leadership Video Program shows you how to lead, and because you have both a workbook and a daily leadership journal you get to test and reflect on the recommended behaviours between sessions.
If you follow Rachael's instructions and do the tough work properly:
you will understand why you do what you do much better
you will be a much better leader
your colleagues, staff and managers will notice a marked difference in you
you will be more comfortable with ambiguity, take smarter risks and become more and more successful
THe program is receiving outstanding feedback
We asked some participants in the program what has changed in their lives since going through the program. These were just some of the responses:
"I have much greater self awareness as a result of active reflection. I can now see myself doing things before I have done them."
"We have eliminated answer-shopping in our workplace at last! Thank you for No Triangles, what an awesome tool"
"Since we took onboard respect trumps harmony our team is getting so much more done."
"I used the full-spectrum of an idea just this week. I was finally able to reach and convince every one on my team"
recent participants had this to say
I have just finished my Extreme Leadership course content and have a reflection meeting with my chief executive next week about the outcomes. I would like to send thanks directly for a wonderful and transformative experience where the outcomes in practice have been exciting and where I certainly required the insights and understandings presented in your course content. My brother tells me he also experienced your insights / course content in a major banking firm in Sydney and had similar sentiments and outcomes. Congratulations on your extreme leadership program!!

So... What's in the program
The greatest leaders work hard at being the best leader they can. This session focuses on the power of reflection to provide you with a powerful tool to develop your self-awareness and ability to review your own performance.
The fastest way to be a leader is to start acting like one. Our focus for this session on understanding and capturing the value of these small everyday moments that can inspire trust, confidence and loyalty in those around you.
Your career and life will be defined by what you did, not what you didn’t do. You only have one life - it’s too short to live with what-if’s. This session features tools that will help you focus on being alert for opportunities, measuring the risk and making bold moves.
Great leaders have a specific language palette - there are words they will always choose over others. This session introduces the LADAR (language radar) and maps out what to say and what not to say.
Good leaders are adept at painting a picture with numbers AND with words. This session looks at how we understand the world and provides a practical approach to connect strongly with different kinds people.
With potentially 5 generations in your workplace, this session builds an understanding of generational differences in how people think, what they value and how they are motivated. It then provides tools to successfully lead across generations.
The goal of harmony should come with a warning label! Many of us are in teams that value harmony and good relationships over everything else. In this session we look at the harmony as a barrier to performance and respect.
The effective practice of no triangles is the single most important way to create respect and performance that I’ve ever come across. We look at what it is, and how to apply it in your work environment.
There's a really good reason we call them difficult conversations! In this session we'll work through the three phases of having a difficult conversation, with 10 memorable steps.
Four simple letters that make a big difference to how you lead and how people respond to you. It’s a simple and incredibly powerful technique to get to the bottom of workplace issues and get the most from your people.
This is all about showing great leadership when the small things threaten to derail your team. Those small things are everywhere and believe it or not, they have the potential to be a great catalyst for change. In this session we explore how to know how to react to a given situation.
The four pillars of crisis leadership. We all have times of crisis or emergency. We’re expected to manage these and we’ll often have all the contingency plans in place. But how do we lead through these times? In this session we focus on the role of the leader and work through the four pillars of effective crisis leadership together.

How does the program work?
The program uses a combination of concept, context and application across three domains: self, others and teams.
It looks like this:
The program has been designed with the 70/20/10 model of learning. This idea states that development typically begins when we understand our need and have the motivation to do something about it, and that a combination of efforts in a 70/20/10 ratio will provide the most powerful learning.
about 70% should come from on-the-job experiences, tasks, and problem solving
about 20% should come through feedback and watching others
about 10% from the traditional learning methods like teaching and instruction.
So, we’ve applied this idea in the following way:
Listen to the idea: 10% of your effort will be in “being told” – that is, watching the videos.
Relate it to your world: The second 20% is about you applying the ideas and concepts to your own life, be it at work, home or play. This area will help you take the content and give it your own context. In the program we’ll do this through discussion questions and personal reflection.
Apply and test the idea for yourself: The 70% is what makes it real. Guided activities will support you as you test these tools and ideas in your own environment.
How do I access the program?
